Like other great stories, the construction of the CMAI group comes from an entrepreneur, who one day transformed an intuition into a tangible and sustainable economic reality.

Since its creation in 1981, the Group has continued to grow and diversify into interior design activities for all rooms in the house.

    The CMAI group continues its development and completes the acquisition of the Spanish manufacturer of interior doors Marcos Martínez Minguela It thus becomes the leader of the interior door market in Spain.
    Minguela is the reference brand for technical and calendered interior doors in Spain: this acquisition thus provides the CMAI Group with additional know-how to enrich its product offer.
    The integration of Minguela into the CMAI group allows us to pursue our strategy of growth and extension of our portfolio of offers, serving all of our distributor partners, in France and internationally.

    THE CMAI GROUP ACQUIRES 100% OF THE CAPITAL OF SANRAFAEL AND PUERTAS CASTALLA, SPECIALISTS IN DECORATIVE INTERIOR DOORS IN SPAIN.

    Founded in 1986, Sanrafael develops, produces and markets to a network of distributors, resellers and installers, in Spain and internationally, decorative interior doors of all types of high-end finishes, in standard and custom sizes, intended for residential or tertiary environments.

    Founded in 1989, Castalla develops, manufactures and markets in Spain and internationally decorative interior doors of medium and high-end finish, intended for the residential environment, through specialized dealers or the large DIY distribution.

    This merger creates a new European Group, with 1,100 employees and a consolidated turnover of around € 140m (2019).

    It will enable CMAI to acquire the know-how and resources necessary to pursue its growth strategy in the field of interior doors in France, successfully initiated in 2018.

    The Sogal brand received the Territoires Innovation Trophy for its motorized closet door, an important innovation in the storage market.

    A departmental jury studied each file in order to designate one candidate per category and per department based on an evaluation grid. Établissements Sogal competed in the Industry category.
